About P&K Christmas Trees in Newland, NC

Rooted in Family. Grown in Newland. Shared with You.

It started like many traditions do—small, personal, and rooted in love. Decades ago, our family began planting Fraser Fir trees here on Walt Clark Road in Newland, NC. At the time, we just wanted to grow good trees. We had no idea it would grow into something more.

Over the years, we noticed something. People weren’t just looking for a Christmas tree—they were looking for a moment. A reason to slow down. A place where their kids could run through rows of trees and feel the cold bite of mountain air. A way to mark the season not just with a purchase, but with a memory.

The problem was, that kind of Christmas had gotten harder to find. Big box stores offered convenience, but no heart. Tree lots were rushed, crowded, and didn’t smell like the woods. You picked from what was left, threw it on the car, and headed home—without ever smiling or making a memory.

We thought: what if it could be different?

So we turned this patch of land into something more than a farm. We added fire pits to gather around. Brought in farm animals to pet. Started brewing coffee and pouring local beer. We kept things simple, cheerful, and full of heart.

Today, P & K Christmas Trees is a family-run farm where people from all over—Boone, Blowing Rock, Charlotte, Johnson City, Raleigh—come to cut their own fresh Fraser Fir and take home so much more than a tree.

You’ll leave with handmade wreaths, pine-scented garland, and bows we tie ourselves. But more importantly, you’ll leave with sticky fingers, muddy boots, a phone full of photos, and a story to tell when you hang that first ornament.

That’s what this place is for. Not just selling trees—but helping people slow down and find a little magic in the middle of a busy season.

We’re so glad you found us. Pull on your boots, grab a saw, and make a day of it.

We’ll be here. Just like always.
